1. Parties

This Terms of Use Agreement ("Agreement") is made between OtoPuls users ("User") and Melike Altın ("Developer").

2. Purpose

OtoPuls is a platform that connects car owners with auto service professionals and workshops.

3. Usage

OtoPuls allows users to access basic features without registration (guest mode). Users can browse mechanics and view details without creating an account. Registration is only required for account-based features such as adding reviews, likes, or making appointments.

• Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
• The app is intended for individuals aged 18 and older.
• Users must not post misleading or unlawful content.

4. User-Generated Content Submission Rules

4.1. Terms of Use Acceptance Requirement

Before sending user-generated content (reviews, ratings, profile information), you must:

• Have read and accepted the Terms of Use
• Have read and accepted the Privacy Policy
• Have checked the checkbox confirming this acceptance

You cannot send content without accepting the Terms of Use.

4.2. Content Moderation

• All user-generated content goes through a moderation process
• Inappropriate content is automatically rejected or flagged for review
• Moderation decisions are final and there is no right to appeal
• Users who send inappropriate content are warned; repeated violations may result in account suspension

4.3. Zero Tolerance Policy

OtoPuls applies a zero tolerance policy for inappropriate content and abuse:

• Spam content
• Harassment, bullying, or hate speech
• Inappropriate or offensive content
• Misleading or false information
• Copyright infringement

Such content is immediately removed and user accounts may be suspended or permanently banned.

5. Accounts

Each account is personal. Users can delete their accounts at any time. Deleted accounts are permanently removed in accordance with data protection laws.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights to OtoPuls (design, logo, content, and software) belong to Melike Altın. Unauthorized use or copying is prohibited.

6. Liability

OtoPuls acts as a platform and is not responsible for the quality of services or disputes between users and service providers.

7. Modifications

The Developer may update this Agreement when necessary. Users will be notified via the website or app.

8. Technical Infrastructure

OtoPuls is developed using modern technologies including React Native, Expo framework, and TypeScript. The application is designed for both iOS and Android platforms through Expo's cross-platform development capabilities.

9. User Blocking and Content Filtering

9.1. User Blocking Right

• Users can block other users
• Blocking takes effect immediately
• Blocked users' content (comments, profiles) is automatically filtered
• Blocking can be reversed (from profile settings)

9.2. Blocking Consequences

• Blocked users cannot see you or send you messages
• You cannot see comments from blocked users
• You cannot see profiles of blocked users
• Blocking is not mutual (you block them, they can still see you)

9.3. Developer Notification

• Blocking actions are reported to our developer team
• When necessary, reviews are conducted and appropriate actions are taken
• Repeated blocking situations are analyzed

10. Content Reporting System

10.1. Reporting Right

Users can report content in the following situations:

• Spam content
• Harassment or bullying
• Inappropriate content
• Offensive content
• Misleading information
• Other violations

10.2. Reporting Process

1. Reported content may be temporarily hidden
2. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours
3. Necessary actions are taken (content removal, user warning, account suspension)
4. Report results are communicated to the user

10.3. Response Commitment

OtoPuls commits to reviewing all reports within 24 hours and taking necessary actions.

10.4. Abuse

Users who make false or malicious reports are warned; repeated violations may result in account suspension.

11. Account Suspension and Ban Policy

11.1. Ban Reasons

Your account may be suspended or permanently banned in the following situations:

• Sending inappropriate content (repeated)
• Sending spam content
• Harassment, bullying, or hate speech
• Copyright infringement
• Spreading misleading information
• Violating platform rules
• Abuse (false reporting, spam blocking, etc.)

11.2. Ban Process

• Ban decisions are made by the developer team
• Ban reason is communicated to the user
• Banned users cannot send content
• Existing content from banned users is hidden
• There is no right to appeal ban decisions

11.3. Ban Duration

• Temporary ban: For a specific period (e.g., 7 days, 30 days)
• Permanent ban: Account is permanently suspended

12. User Consent

During user registration, users are required to explicitly consent to the following by checking the respective checkboxes:

• Terms of Use Agreement
• Privacy Policy
• KVKK Disclosure Text

Users cannot complete registration without providing these consents. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us or deleting the account.
