1. Parties

This Terms of Use Agreement ("Agreement") is made between OtoPuls users ("User") and Melike Altın ("Developer").

2. Purpose

OtoPuls is a platform that connects car owners with auto service professionals and workshops.

3. Usage

OtoPuls allows users to access basic features without registration (guest mode). Users can browse mechanics and view details without creating an account. Registration is only required for account-based features such as adding reviews, likes, or making appointments.

  • Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information during registration.
  • The app is intended for individuals aged 18 and older.
  • Users must not post misleading or unlawful content.

4. Accounts

Each account is personal. Users can delete their accounts at any time. Deleted accounts are permanently removed in accordance with data protection laws.

5. Intellectual Property

All rights to OtoPuls (design, logo, content, and software) belong to Melike Altın. Unauthorized use or copying is prohibited.

6. Liability

OtoPuls acts as a platform and is not responsible for the quality of services or disputes between users and service providers.

7. Modifications

The Developer may update this Agreement when necessary. Users will be notified via the website or app.

8. Technical Infrastructure

OtoPuls is developed using modern technologies including React Native, Expo framework, and TypeScript. The application is designed for both iOS and Android platforms through Expo's cross-platform development capabilities.

9. User-Generated Content and Safety Measures

OtoPuls includes user-generated content such as reviews, comments, and ratings. To ensure a safe and respectful environment, we have implemented the following safety measures:

  • Content Filtering: Automated systems filter inappropriate content using backend filtering mechanisms.
  • Reporting Mechanism: Users can report inappropriate content through a reporting system with multiple categories (6 categories available).
  • User Blocking: Users have the ability to block other users who engage in abusive behavior.
  • Response Commitment: We commit to reviewing and responding to content reports within 24 hours. Inappropriate content will be removed, and users who provide such content may be removed from the platform.

Users are responsible for the content they post and must comply with community guidelines. Violations may result in content removal or account suspension.

10. User Consent

During user registration, users are required to explicitly consent to the following by checking the respective checkboxes:

  • Terms of Use Agreement
  • Privacy Policy
  • KVKK Disclosure Text

Users cannot complete registration without providing these consents. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us or deleting the account.
